Bruce Purser

Bruce Purser combines his great affinity for people with exceptional organisational skills and years of experience in managing and overseeing projects to bring his clients superior service.

Bruce achieved a Batchelor of Business, majoring in marketing and communications, at Kuring-gai College in 1985 followed by two years of accounting. He continued his on-the-job corporate experience with five years as the Area Manager for Shell Australia, looking after 30 service stations between the Central Coast and Coffs Harbour, before becoming a director of Purser Commercial Interiors, where he began to develop his expertise for managing commercial interior projects.

In the early 1990's Bruce became a partner of Practec Interiors where he managed many successful design and construction projects in commercial interiors. During this time Practec grew to employ around 48 carpenters who helped them create many practical and stylish office spaces in Sydney.

Through his Practec years Bruce joined Chris as a partner of Redwood Developments where he project managed the successful completion of several self-funded residential property developments, ranging from $3 million to $13.5 million projects, in Bellevue Hill, Cremorne and Bondi Junction.

In 1999 Bruce and Chris founded Strategy Interiors. Having already worked together for many years, this partnership thrived on delivering high quality commercial interior fitouts for many prominent Sydney companies, including Sydney Futures, ACE Insurance, Liberty Underwriters, Clubs NSW, AT&T, United Medical, Dept Housing and NSW Police.

Strategy Interiors also operated a development arm, working on several construction projects in Bellevue Hill, Bondi Junction and Regents Park worth between $3 million and $8.5 million.

In 2006 Bruce and Chris decided to take a break from the partnership and operate separate ventures with Chris remaining at Strategy and Bruce founding his own commercial interior fit out company called One Eighty Degrees. At One Eighty Degrees he continued to develop his network of industry contacts and skills in managing commercial interior projects.

In 2008 Bruce and Chris wanted to take their commercial interiors and construction development experience in a different direction. They formed Intelligent Project Delivery Australia and Intelligent Construction Delivery Australia which offer a unique approach to project and construction delivery. Bruce and Chris's aim with IPDA and ICDA is to offer their clients a tailored and personal solution to their office fitouts or construction and redevelopment projects.

Bruce's personable nature and his sense of fun, combined with his attention to detail and ability to foresee issues in a project instil confidence into those he works with and for. His hands-on approach to each project means that every client gets personal attention and the knowledge that their project will be seen through to a successful conclusion.
